Tennyson Point Residence
With a waterfront aspect this house was dark and uninviting. The spectacular water views were not seen from the house and the western aspect made the house very hot in the summer months.
The result of the design by David Baillie was to open the planning to make the house bright and pleasant maximising the water views. Long eaves and double glazing helped to alleviate the summer sun and sliding doors open the house to maximise the breezes off the water cooling the house passively.
